Top Marks for Security Services Limited is a family-run business that was established in 2005 to provide keyholding and alarm response services across Lancashire and parts of Greater Manchester. In the years that followed, we expanded our range of services when requested to flexibly meet the needs of our clients.
In the past we were confined to providing a range of Security Services across the North West, including Blackburn, Preston, Chorley, Bolton, Manchester and the surrounding areas, however, we have moved nationwide(2023).
Between 2005 and 2020 we generated our business solely through referrals. We didn't even have a website. Despite this lack of marketing, we developed a company which was delivering services to over 150 client sites. How we were able to do this was simple. We provide rapid response services for our valued clients, flexing to accommodate our client’s needs, and impressing our customers with our quality that they just had to tell their networks.
A large proportion of our business supports public and education sector clients, we also maintain a customer base across sectors such as retail, manufacturing and professional and legal services. We deliver around the clock security services to these clients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

At Top Marks we want to consistently deliver a high quality, reliable service to customers in our local community. We want to do so at a price point accessible by those customers who we have a civic duty to support, as well as a broad range of businesses in the private sector. We want to ensure this is balanced with ensuring Real living wages, good hours and job security for our people.
